Sermon Series 104 MORE SALT

Jesus leads us to touch on the subject of More Salt 1st in Mark 9:49-50 Jesus sais that everyone shall be salted with fire , and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt.In Levicus 2:13 Jesus points us to where this comes from. It sais every oblation of thy meat offering shalt thou season with salt. Jesus wants us to be obedient faithful & diligent in everything he told us to do. Jesus is leading us into all truth. We make sacrifices in our lives as we follow Jesus.He leads us where we left off in Leviticus 3:17 where the scripture states that yea eat neither fat nor blood.Jesus teaches us in Acts 15:24-29 that there were 4 things the gentiles where supposed to stay away from or keep themselves from. The 1st was blood , the 2nd things offered to Idols, 3rd from things that were strangled and from fornication. Jesus talks about these main things continually in the new testament. Jesus identifies us as a Royal priesthood and a chosen generation as peculiar people special and set apart.Our obedience is one of the things that sets us apart as chosen. Pray seek and listen along. Jesus leads us into Leviticus 2 & 3 with the subject of Salt. In verse 13 of Leviticus 2 we read every " And every oblation of thy meat offering shalt thou season with salt; neither shalt thou suffer the salt of the covenant of thy God to be lacking from thy meat offering: with all thine offerings thou shalt offer salt. Jesus speaks to us in the New testament about this in Matthew 5:13 about Salt loosing its flavor. As Jesus leads into Hebrews 9 & 10 he shows us how he wants to add body, flavor and color into our walk with him .Amen

Sermon Series 102 Priesthood

Jesus leads us to explore The Priesthood which is defined by Levi & in Judah by the priesthood of Melchizedek through Jesus. Jesus leads us to examine Leviticus chapter 1 & 2 and some of 3 as well as Hebrews 7 & Acts 2. Jesus has us examine the sacrifices of Lambs & bulls. How they must be without blemish & how they become a sweet smelling savour on the altar. Jesus speaks to us about how we are to offer in the new testament of our body and our lives to him. We offer this without blemish clean and holy. Jesus also has us look at how the sweet smelling savour is an indication of prayer when these offerings where made and how important prayer is in our walk with Jesus.
