Sermon Series 108 True Fire

Jesus leads us into the subject of true fire and strange fire 1st off in Leviticus 10, Job 32, Jeremiah 1 & 20 & Luke 4. We see the examples of the true fire coming up against the strange fire. The false preachers the false teacher the false prophets we see this play out where Jesus points us to in Acts 8 ,13 & 16 & in Revelation 16:12-18 we see in the life of Jeremiah and Jesus himself and Phillip the push back of Satan rousing up people to revile and create stumbling blocks for the true fire of the Holy spirit which speaks such truth just like Jesus said we cannot be withstood by the direction of Jesus. Lastly in Leviticus 10 & Ezekiel 20 Jesus is teaching us with the subject of true & strange fire what the unclean and the clean is and how he needs us to stand to present his body his church spotless and clean to himself !!

In Leviticus 9 & Hebrews 10 Jesus lets us know how he will appear to us and that When will appear to us his glory will shine.In Leviticus 9 Jesus points us to the announcing of Aaron and his sons and making the 1st sacrifices . In the same way in hebrews 10 through our now spiritual sacrifices of doing good he will appear to us as the body the church the household of God. Jesus leads us to review giving freely of the gospel in Matthew 10 & 1 Corinthians 9.Jesus also drives in that idolatry is a sin in Deuteronomy 6 , 1 Corinthians 10 & Ezekiel 14. As Jesus leads into all truth he continues to sanctify us and save us just as the Leviticus priests, Jesus has made us a Holy Royal priesthood!! Amen !

Sermon Series 106 The Spirit & The Word

The Spirit of Jesus & The Word work together to bring us into all truth. How? 1st by setting us apart as Holy. The 1st Scriptures Jesus directs us to look at is 1 Corinthians 8 & 10 which describe the sin of Idolatry. That the idols are nothing and that there is only one true God. Jesus also focuses us on the things offered to idols are nothing but as examples we are not to eat things offered to idols but to come together in love & honesty. Jesus has us look at Jeremiah 9 & 10 which describes Jerusalem during the time of Nebachnezzer. How idolatry was being practiced bringing us back to Leviticus 7. These scriptures parallel back to now our own time and how Satan wants to drag the world into uncleaness and fornication , adultery , confusion & Rebellion. Described In Hebrews 9 & 1 corinthians 9 & 3 Jesus wants us clean washed sanctified set apart as the holy priesthood and the chosen people he made us to be, without spot or stain presenting his gospel for free & not for gain. Amen.
